Interpretation
Runs declared discrete time/profile samples, not a continuous dynamic simulation. Confirm the project contains the intended native time axis and profiles before selecting indices. Record which demand, generation and active-state values apply at each sample; do not infer an absent axis or resample imported profiles. Retained sample identities and timestamps distinguish each result even when topology is unchanged. Inspect convergence and limits at every selected sample, with MW/MVAr, pu voltage and MVA ratings. Requested outage checks add their own explicit outcomes. Failed samples remain present. To change sampling or controls, create a new case version. A set of successful sampled snapshots is not proof of behavior between samples or transient stability.
Run
Discover settings with study definitions. Select an exact network snapshot and case version; inspect readiness. Submit once using study_submit or the case submission tool, monitor study_status, then inspect study_results. Keep input/configuration/solver identities, warnings and failure states.
Compare and accept
Use equivalent settings/units and exact receipts. Unsupported or incompatible inputs remain explicit. Numerical qualification and human acceptance are separate. See Studies.
