Dispatch
Kind
optimization
Interpretation
Produces an admitted dispatch proposal using the exact selected formulation and bounds; it does not qualify every upstream OPF menu. Inspect participating generators, MW limits, costs/objective, slack/control assumptions and network constraints before running. Retain solver identity and terminal status, infeasibility messages and any movement from original dispatch. A solver's successful termination does not by itself prove nonlinear AC feasibility or a global optimum; use the required independent checks for the admitted profile. Missing bounds, unavailable source data and unsupported controls remain failures, not guessed settings. Review the proposed operating point in a detached candidate and run its exact engineering checks before any human Review/Apply.
Run
Discover settings with study definitions. Select an exact network snapshot and case version; inspect readiness. Submit once using study_submit or the case submission tool, monitor study_status, then inspect study_results. Keep input/configuration/solver identities, warnings and failure states.
Compare and accept
Use equivalent settings/units and exact receipts. Unsupported or incompatible inputs remain explicit. Numerical qualification and human acceptance are separate. See Studies.
